A wealthy man accused of raping a teenage girl has been cleared of all charges after convincing a UK jury that he accidentally tripped and penetrated the girl. Ehsan Abdulaziz, a native of Saudi Arabia who has lived in London for the last 20 years, also stated that he may have had semen on his hands from having sex with another woman earlier in the evening. Unbelievably, the jury believed Abdulaziz, and he was allowed to go home a free man. The facts of the case are, to put it mildly, rather difficult to believe.

The nightclub. Abdulaziz met the 18-year-old girl and her 24-year-old friend at a popular London nightclub. Reportedly, Abdulaziz had a $1300-a-night private table at the club which he visited every night.
Impressed. The 18-year-old and her friend were reportedly impressed by the amount of money Abdulaziz flashed around. Also, he drove an Aston Martin, which she found to be exciting.
Married with a child. Abdulaziz, 46, is married with a child. His wife was visiting the Czech Republic at the time along with their child, so Abdulaziz had their London flat all to himself.
A night of drinking. The three enjoyed a night of drinking and partying together at the club. They all left together in Abdulaziz's Aston Martin, and this is where the version of events changes. Abdulaziz stated that he was faithful to his wife and that this was an isolated incident; he brought the girls home with him to be kind, stating that they needed a ride.
The 24-year-old. Abdulaziz admitted to having sex with the 24-year-old woman. He said that the 18-year-old was sleeping in another room at the time.
Slipped and fell. According to Abdulaziz, he entered the room where the 18-year-old was sleeping to see if she wanted a T-shirt to sleep in, or if she wanted him to call a taxi for her. He claims that she threw herself at him, pulling his hand down onto her vagina.
I'm fragile. Abdulaziz told the court that he's fragile, and that he fell on top of the girl when she pulled his hand. This is how he "accidentally" penetrated her.
Semen on his hands. He also said that he might have had semen on his hands from having sex with the 24-year-old woman earlier in the evening. This was his explanation for the traces of semen found in the 18-year-old's vagina upon a medical examination.
It's my place, I can do what I want. Abdulaziz was asked why he entered the room where the 18-year-old was sleeping with his erect penis poking out of the top of his pajamas. "It's my place," he stated. "I can do what I want."
The victim's testimony. According to the 18-year-old's testimony, she fell asleep after a night of drinking at the club. When she woke up, Abdulaziz was on top of her, with his penis inside of her, and was roughly kissing her. She told him to stop, and he said "it's okay." She eventually was able to escape from him.
Unable to wake her friend. She stated that she was unable to wake up her 24-year-old companion for help. She fled the flat and was able to contact the police.
Respecting women. Abdulaziz told the court that he respects women. He reiterated his claim that he was faithful to his wife with the exception of the isolated incident with the 24-year-old. He also said that he had never in his life raised his hand to a woman.
Jealous and angry. Abdulaziz's defense attorney claimed that the 18-year-old went into a rage when Abdulaziz refused to have sex with her. She stormed out of the flat when she didn't get what she wanted, according to his attorney.
He never even tried to have sex with you. The defense team apparently was able to convince the jury that the 18-year-old's version of events was untrue. "He never even tried to have sex with you," the defense attorney said to the teen.
Half an hour. The jury deliberated for half an hour. Mr. Abdulaziz was then cleared of all charges.
