After returning home and catching his girlfriend having sex with the man the couple had a threesome with the day before, trouble ensued. The boyfriend immediately flew into a fit of rage and attacked the man, injuring his girlfriend in the process. His girlfriend (or possibly his ex-girlfriend) has suffered a few cuts on her face and lips, but she is expected to be okay physically. The couple’s ménage a trois partner, however, is hospitalized. The boyfriend beat the other man so badly that he was admitted to the ICU. Perhaps they should have discussed the rules of their threesome to avoid this shocking attack.
Threesomes. Most threesomes are not spur of the moment, contrary to popular belief. They are planned out and in many cases, when it is over, it’s over unless all parties agree to meet up again. Even under the best-planned circumstances, threesomes can go terribly wrong for all parties involved, but they rarely go so wrong that someone ends up in the hospital.
The Threesome. Unfortunately for one Brooklyn couple and their third party there was no calm ending to their fun. Though their threesome seemed to end well, the next day went horribly wrong. Apparently, the man the couple agreed to have the threesome with was worth another interaction with – minus one.
Saturday. The couple met the 23-year-old man on Saturday and agreed to the threesome. Apparently, at least in the boyfriend’s eyes, the three-way was only supposed to last the one night. On Sunday, things took a serious turn and people were hurt, very badly.
The Two Day Affair. Because the girlfriend and the other man decided to continue having sex the next day, and the boyfriend took a very big problem with that things got very bad. There was no arguing, the boyfriend just launched into a violent attack that left the other man near death. The boyfriend made a weapon and beat the man bloody with it, even injuring his girlfriend.
Rage. In an immediate fit of rage, the boyfriend ripped one of the legs off the coffee table and flew at the other man. He beat him with the table leg so severely that he did not even notice he had also hit his girlfriend during his attack, causing cuts and bruises on her lips and face. The police, understandably, were called.
Oops. Police were able to discern that the girlfriend and the man the couple enjoyed the threesome with were having sex in the couple's house and apparently said nothing to the boyfriend. He was very surprised when he came home to find his girlfriend having sex with the man from the night before. Though it is unclear whether he was upset at being left out or being uninformed, the nearly deadly attack was certainly dramatic.
Police Response. Police responded to the incident on Sunday afternoon at approximately 6:45 pm. The 54-year-old boyfriend was immediately taken into custody. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was immediately rushed to the hospital in very serious condition.
The 23-Year-Old. Though he clearly knew the man, the boyfriend was in such a rage that when police arrived, the man was unconscious with several severe head injuries. Police did not expect the man to survive. Fortunately, the doctors were able to save him though he is currently in ICU.
Rape Claims. The 54-year-old boyfriend tried to cover up his actions by saying that when he walked in the man was raping his girlfriend. Unfortunately for him, the girlfriend insisted that she was not being assaulted. She did assert for police that her boyfriend was in the wrong and attacked the man.
Heart Pains. After his arrest, the police had to transport the boyfriend to the hospital as well because he was complaining of chest pains. The boyfriend is fine and expected to recover and be charged. At the last check, the man still had charges pending against him. The girlfriend is okay and quite likely cleaning up the apartment from the messy beating.
Avoidable. Clearly, the boyfriend will be charged and the beaten man has a lot of healing to do, but the entire situation was avoidable. Had the couple adequately discussed what they were comfortable with, no one would have been hospitalized (hopefully), but this is just conjecture of course. Perhaps the boyfriend did not actually enjoy the threesome as much as the other two did.
Other Threesomes Ending Badly. There are a few other similar stories of threesomes ending badly, but very few of the details match up. Sometimes fights break out during the threesome if one party feels neglected. Perhaps one person was not really interested but did not want to be left out. A threesome can be tricky to navigate if the parties involved are not careful.
Not Sexy? Most people worry that having the conversation first can make things less spontaneous or sexy, but an unexpected trip to the hospital for any reason is not typically sexy either. The results of miscommunication in these situations often lead to embarrassing, violent and very naked fighting and even worse, police involvement and charges. Sometimes, it is just better to put everything on the table.
Other Fights. Another NY couple engaged in a threesome that evolved into a bit more, but quickly dissolved into an attack when one man tried to record the women involved. The boyfriend took offense and grabbed a baseball bat. By that time the threesome had turned into a full-blown orgy and everyone was upset enough with the man trying to record that three of the men involved took off after him.
